The Day(s) After Easter.

Our business on the day after Easter should stay the same. We are not to stop saying He is Risen and go from posting cute pictures and memes about Jesus to gossiping and backbiting about our church leaders and fellow members. Our job on the day after easter is to continue what we were doing, continue letting people know that He is risen — Don’t lose focus.

Sons of (S)laughter.

Like Jesus, Isaac was a son of promise, long awaited by his parents. The sons of (s)laughter were born under unnatural circumstances. Isaac was born to a mother who was old and barren while Jesus was born to young woman who was a virgin. Two extreme situations that should have made it impossible to conceive a child, yet with God – all things are possible.

Strong God.
